Normalizing Therapy

For some individuals, the decision to engage in therapy is not taken lightly. It can be downright terrifying. Being open and vulnerable is not an easy feat.
Whether you are unsure about therapy and want to try it out, or intentionally want to change, welcome.
You may be thinking of seeking support but feeling a bit weary because you’ve heard narratives such as “you are weak if you attend counselling.”
The fact is, it takes incredible strength to choose to be vulnerable. To choose change. Embracing counselling, though not easy, is saying yes to the audacity of hope. To change. To rediscover.
It is often in our moments of weakness that we find strength. Feeling low and tired is not a failure. It makes you HUMAN.
I will be honest with you. Therapy is not a quick fix. It is a journey, and it can take a while.
The healing journey is not a sprint. It is a marathon, a lifelong marathon. Therapy is a resource to support you on your journey.
It can be incredibly effective and rewarding.
